Rapid pedestrian & ADA access
For access control and managing passage into secured areas – Magnetic’s MPR retractable gates are the ideal solution for directing people into controlled places, when low-to-medium security is required. Offering standard and ADA widths also make the MPR perfect for wheelchairs, mobility devices, and material carts. The variety of modules allow easy matching to space constraints, traffic volumes and other requirements. The MPR allows passage without contact. Photoelectric switches detect users and quickly open the wings fully allowing a no-contact passage. The barriers close automatically after each passage. Wing 
elements made of Polyurethane (PUR) foam-coated aluminum barriers and offer sensitive impact detection to ensure safety. In addition, the photoelectric switches offer a level of security: they register the passage of persons attempting to tailgate, pass the wrong way, or without authorization and trigger an alarm. The retractable gates can be used bi-directionally and can be regulated with most access control systems. The barrier elements are available with PUR foam or acrylic glass.
